February 13, 2026

Approximately 11,000 3-Pack Smoke Detector Fire Alarms have been recalled following concerns that the devices may fail to sound in a timely manner during a fire emergency.

According to the recall notice issued on February 12, 2026, the alarms may have their sensing threshold set too high. If this occurs, the alarm might not activate quickly enough to warn occupants of smoke or fire conditions, posing a serious fire hazard.

This recall involves 3-Pack Smoke Detector Fire Alarms that are:

  • White and circular in shape

  • Powered by a 9-volt battery

  • Equipped with a light and sound warning system

  • Featuring a front test button

Model number “XG-7D04-KZ9Z” and SKU number “CX-50YP-A5VN” are printed on the bottom side of the alarm.

The alarms were sold online at Amazon.com from February 2024 through December 2025 for approximately $30. The recalled units were manufactured in China and sold by TIANJINSHIHAOWEIXINSHENGJIDIANANZHUANGGONGCHENG, of China. The recall number is 26-260.

Reported Incidents

At this time, no incidents or injuries have been reported. However, functioning smoke alarms are critical to early fire detection and occupant safety, and any potential delay in activation presents a significant concern.

What Consumers Should Do

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled smoke detector fire alarms. To receive instructions on how to obtain a full refund through Amazon.com, contact the firm by email at lmm15957491237@163.com.

The recalled smoke alarms can be discarded in the household trash.

Fire Safety Reminder

Working smoke alarms cut the risk of dying in a home fire in half. Residents are encouraged to test their smoke alarms monthly, replace batteries at least once a year, and replace the entire unit every 10 years or according to the manufacturer’s instructions. If you remove a recalled alarm, ensure another properly functioning smoke alarm is installed in its place.

For additional fire safety information and updates, follow your local fire department’s social media channels and stay informed about product recalls that could affect your household safety.
